The Lesson Learnt

I could never ever even in my wierdest thought could imagine that ever would I find not one but Two rational Delhi Policewala! Yeah, that is my story.Yesterday, with my elder sister I had gone to CP to buy some woolens n all. Obviously being two big Foodies, we can not get energy to shop! So, in the starting only she had yum pasta salad n I had yummy Momos, we obviously we shared. Then cold coffee n then only we started our journey to shop on Janpath n various other shops out there. We bought skirts, tops, harem pants......etc... etc.... So out n out it all was so much fun. Then we had golgappas from Preeto. And, then again we shopped. N then before leaving the market she had Mushroom Pocket....?!?

On our way to Metro station, my mummy too joined us n then my lil sister wanted to eat that roadside raddish n Carrot & stuff. Though I was totally against that. I was neither hungry nor feeling like it. But my elder sis too wanted to eat - Cucumber. We all bought that n they begin to eat that. She asked me to join her at first I refused but she said that she won't be able to eat that, I had to join.

Meanwhile, two policemen came there & enquired us if we were eating stuff from that person's stall. When we said yes, they told us the life that, that particular person leads. HE WAS A DRUG ADDICT. HE HAD NOT BATHED FOR MONTHS N YES THERE WAS NO INFO ABOUT FROM WHERE HE GOT THOSE VEGGIES! We both were shocked! I, at that time only, put that cucumber piece back to its paper plate! They further said taht being educated youth, we should not get indulged in such stuff and should take proper care about our health. And further added that many people had fallen ill because of that person who never ever washes his hands. I was totally speechless.

First because I had realised something. At very that moment, I turned around and saw that man, He was totally totally dirty & disgusting! Yuk! And secondly because two police men had taught us something, that is totally unbelievable. I could never expect this. At very tat moment, I promised myself that I wont eat roadside things at all be it the road of Shahdara or CP. N for those policemen, I hav just this to say "THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR MAKING US REALISE THAT HOW DIRTY AND INJURIOUS TO HEALTH IT IS. AND KEEP UP THIS GOOD WORK OF EDUCATING PEOPLE OF OUR COUNTRY AND ABROAD LIKE THIS."

At the end, I only wish that each and every person should sooner or later realise this and this also that only sinful things are tasty. Spread this message everywhere and do tell me how my feelings are as thiis the first time that I am writing a blog. Thankyou and keep utmost care of ur health and if u really feel like eating veggies, buy them from Big Bazaar or Reliance Fresh n cut them at home n then it and ditto with other things.
